• The PROSTAFF 5 spotting scopes are Nikon's entry-level spotting scopes and the successors to the RA III spotting scopes. The PROSTAFF 5 spotting scope (body only) is approximately 20% lighter than the current RA III. The new zoom eyepiece reduces chromatic aberrations at the edge of the field of view and provides long eye relief for comfortable viewing.
• Three types of digiscoping-compatible eyepieces connect to a wide variety of compact digital cameras in the COOLPIX series using an FSB adapter.
• Body approximately 20% lighter than the current model.
